Please use Microsoft PowerPoint. Include all fonts and graphics. Videos should be in .AVI (Mediaplayer) or .MOV (Quicktime) format. Each company presenter of a biotech company will be allocated a total of 14 minutes for the presentation. Each presenter from a Next Generation Biotech company will be allocated a total of 7 minutes for the presentation.

Can I edit my company's profile?Yes. Please go to the Partnering page of this site. You will have to enter the username and password you submitted while entering your registration/application. Companies will be notified about the status/outcome of their application by mid-January, 2011.
How much is the presentation fee? Does it include registration? Do I have to register separately?The presentation fee is EUR 850/USD 1,050.
Each company representative will be charged the registration fee
of EUR 1,590/USD 1,890 before January 14, 2011 and EUR 1,790/USD 2,090 after January 14, 2011.
With your Application to Present you are automatically registered
for the conference. There is no need to register separately.
To ensure a technically flawless BIO-Europe Spring 2011 event, we are asking all presenters to submit their Microsoft PowerPoint presentations prior to the conference.
Please send a copy of your presentation to bioeuropespring@googlemail.com
- Videos should be in .AVI (MediaPlayer) or .MOV (Quicktime) format.
- If your presentation was prepared on a Mac please let us know before the conference and make sure you check your presentation with the AV staff on site before your presentation is held.

How can I exhibit at the conference?You can exhibit at BIO-Europe Spring 2011 by becoming an
official sponsor of the event.
As you will see (click on link above), the sponsorships also include a variety of other benefits such as complimentary tickets and

How do I register as a biotech presenter?Please submit the Application to Present form through this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the Application to Present. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2010. Companies will be notified about the status/outcome of their application by mid-January, 2011.
How do I register as a midsize pharma presenter?Please submit the Application to Present form through this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the Application to Present. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2010. Companies will be notified about the status/outcome of their application by mid-January, 2011.
How do I register as a next generation presenter?Please submit the Application to Present form through this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the Application to Present. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2010. Companies will be notified about the status/outcome of their application by mid-January, 2011.
How do I register as a regular attendee?Please submit the online registration form on this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the registration form.
How do I register as an additional attendee?Please complete a separate regular registration form for each additional attendee.
Can I register on site?Yes. Please note that the on-site registration fee is EUR 1,890/USD 2,190. Payment is required at the time of registration and can be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard). Company check or cash are also accepted if paying in EUR.
Is it possible to obtain a "one day only" pass?No. Only full conference passes are available.
Can I share my registration pass with my colleagues?No. Conferences passes are not transferable once the event has started.
When is the deadline for profiles to be included in the conference CD?EBD Group has already implemented various measures to produce more environmentally-conscious conferences. Our first step in this direction was to discontinue hard copies of company profiles in order to reduce paper usage. Our next step in going green is to refrain from producing conference CDs which also included company profiles. Your company profile will of course continue to be published in the password-protected partnering section of the BIO-Europe Spring website.
We will now make all company profiles available as a download. You can access the download tool within the partneringONE® system starting March 9, 2011 and it will remain available for a few months until after the conference. Please note that profiles received after March 4, 2011 will not be included in the download.

- Online registration will close on March 11, 2011, 15:00 CET, after which all registrations will be handled on site.
- North American registrants will be invoiced in USD. All others please remit in EUR.
- The registration fees are excluding VAT, 20% VAT will be added as applicable.
- Additional attendees from the same company will be invoiced for the registration fee.
- Companies with three full-paying delegates will receive one complimentary ticket for the fourth attendee from their company.
- The Next Generation (NXT) registration fee only applies to companies selected for a NXT presentation or NXT exhibition and is not available to non-presenting or non-exhibiting companies even if the criteria for a NXT company are met.
- Additional attendees of a NXT presenting company can also benefit from the NXT registration fee rate.
- The NXT registration fee cannot be combined with any other discount such as a delegation discount or multiple attendee discount.
- Submission of up to 150 requests per company for one-to-one meetings during the conference
- Access to all workshops, presentations, panel discussions and the exhibition hall
- Publication of your company and personal profile on partneringONE®, BIO-Europe Spring’s partnering system
- Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, complimentary coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages in the conference center
- Three evening networking receptions
Companies with three full paying delegates will receive one complimentary ticket for the fourth attendee from that company.
Invoicing
When will I receive an invoice?You will receive an invoice with information on methods of payment shortly after your registration. Presenting companies will receive an invoice shortly after they have been selected. To guarantee the early registration discount (deadline January 14, 2011) payments must be received by January 28, 2010.
What are the methods of payment?Payments may be made by credit card, check or wire transfer. Details can be found on the invoice which will be sent to you a few days after you register online.
What happens if I have not paid my registration fee before the conference?You will have to register again at the venue and pay the higher on-site registration fee of EUR 1,890/USD 2,190.
Can I send a replacement?Yes. Please register the new person who will attend the conference in your place at www.ebdgroup.com/bes/registration/index.php and note “replaces (your name) who will no longer attend” in the comment field within the online registration form.
We will then activate the new registration, deactivate your registration and transfer your payment (if already submitted). Meeting requests and scheduled meetings will be transferred as well.
Please do NOT update your personal profile page with the name and contact data of the new attendee.

Cancellations
What is the cancellation policy?Cancellations must be sent by January 28, 2011, to Tom Voigt at tvoigt@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a EUR 250/USD 300 processing fee) or the full registration and presenting fee will be charged. Refunds will be processed after BIO-Europe Spring 2010.
After January 28, 2011, the full registration fee is applicable. However, a paid up registration is transferable to a replacement from your company.
NB: No-shows will be billed for the full registration fee.
Can I send a replacement?Yes. Please register the new person who will attend the conference in your place at www.ebdgroup.com/bes/registration/index.php and note “replaces (your name) who will no longer attend” in the comment field within the online registration form.

Hotel
How do I reserve a hotel room?Please visit our Hotel page, complete the form and fax it directly to the hotel of your choice. You will receive confirmation of your reservation directly from the hotel.
Company Profiles
What are the profiles used for?Company profiles will be made available to all participants on the password protected Partnering Pages of the conference website beginning January 31, 2011.
Presenting companies will be selected based on the corporate profiles they have submitted.
What is the deadline for submitting a profile?Companies that applied to present must submit a profile by March 4, 2011.
Can I edit my company profile?Yes. Please go to our Partnering Page. You have to enter the username and password you submitted when entering your registration/application.
Can I send my company profile as a Word document/PDF/etc.?No. We accept only those profiles submitted through our website.
What if I forget my password?Please use the password reminder. Your username and password will be sent to your address immediately.
My username/password does not work. What now?Please enter your username and password exactly as entered on the registration/application form.

Shipping Information
Where do I send company brochures?In our continuous efforts to offer more environmentally conscious conferences we are trying to decrease the very large number of company brochures which are regularly left behind on the literature table after each conference. Therefore we no longer offer the possibility to send your company literature to the conference.
You may, however, bring your materials to the conference yourself and place the brochures on a designated literature table in the main conference area.
Company literature remaining at the end of the conference will be disposed of.
Therefore please limit your company literature to 50 pieces. Experience has shown that this number of copies is sufficient for distribution.
