BIO-Europe Spring® invites innovative young companies to apply to present
in the “Next Generation” Session.
To help bring small entrepreneurial companies to the attention of pharma
and big biotech, BIO-Europe Spring will feature a limited number of
seven-minute presentation slots, at a 33% discount to regular presentation
and registration fees.
Additional discounts are available to members of our collaborators
CEBR, ASTP and IASP. |

| Each company will be allowed 7 minutes for their presentation, which should focus on the following areas: |

Brief corporate background |
| • |
Existing alliances |
| • |
Development status of key technology and product candidates |
| • |
Type of alliances sought |
| |
| Please apply for a “Next Generation Presentation” if your company
meets all of the following requirements: |
| • |
was created in the past three years |
| • |
has fewer than 25 employees |
| • |
is developing new therapeutic products
or has an innovative service |
| • |
has never presented at an EBD Group event before |
| |
| A panel of industry experts will select the presenting companies.
The panel will make each decision based on the company profile submitted (deadline: November 20, 2009),
taking into consideration the potential interest of pharmaceutical
companies and consistency with BIO-Europe Spring’s focus. |

The Next Generation (NXT) registration
fee only applies to companies selected for a NXT presentation
or NXT exhibition and is not available to non-presenting or
non-exhibiting companies even if the criteria for a NXT company
are met. |

All fees are excluding VAT, 7% VAT will be added as applicable. |

North American registrants will be invoiced
in USD. All others please remit in EUR. |

Additional attendees of a NXT presenting company can also benefit from the NXT registration fee rate. |

The NXT registration fee cannot be combined with any other discount such as a delegation discount or multiple attendee discount. |

Online registration will close on March 5, 2010. After March 5, all registrations will be handled
on site. |

We will notify you about the status/outcome of your application
by mid-January, 2009. The notification will also contain
a link to your online invoice and payment instructions.

| Company profiles received after February 19 , 2010 will not be included on the BIO-Europe Spring
2010 conference CD. However, your company profile will be published
in the password-protected partnering section of the BIO-Europe Spring
website. |

| Companies selected for a presentation
will receive an invoice shortly after they have been notified about
their assigned presentation slot. |

Cancellations must be sent
by January 29, 2010,
to Tom Voigt at tvoigt@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a EUR 250 processing fee) or the full
registration and presenting fee will be charged. Refunds will
be processed after BIO-Europe Spring 2010.
AfterJanuary 29, 2010,
the full registration fee is applicable. However,
a paid up registration is transferable to a replacement from your
company.
Please note that no-shows will be billed for the full registration
fee and if applicable the full presentation fee. |
