Midsize Pharma Presentation Application

BIO-Europe Spring® 2011 invites midsize pharma companies to present at the conference. This presentation track reflects the many requests received from the biotechnology industry and from the conference's continuously increasing number of participants from midsize pharma companies who are involved in the partnering process.

We believe that these presentations will further enhance the opportunity for on-site dealmaking between midsize pharma companies and biotechnology companies.

Company Presentation

Each company will be allowed 14 minutes for their presentation, which should focus on the following areas:

  • Company overview, including a company's products on the market
  • Existing alliances with biotechnology or other pharmaceutical companies
  • Type of alliances sought

A committee consisting of sponsors, BIO and EBD Group representatives will choose the presenters. Selection will be based on recommendations of the selection committee, which reflects the interests of biotechnology companies, licensing and strategic alliances interests, and membership in BIO.

  • Online registration will close on March 11, 2011, 15:00 CET, after which all registrations will be handled on site.
  • North American registrants will be invoiced in USD. All others please remit in EUR.
  • The registration fees are excluding VAT, 20% VAT will be added as applicable.
  • Additional attendees from the same company will be invoiced for the registration fee.
  • Companies with three full-paying delegates will receive one complimentary ticket for the fourth attendee from their company.
  • The Next Generation (NXT) registration fee only applies to companies selected for a NXT presentation or NXT exhibition and is not available to non-presenting or non-exhibiting companies even if the criteria for a NXT company are met.
  • Additional attendees of a NXT presenting company can also benefit from the NXT registration fee rate.
  • The NXT registration fee cannot be combined with any other discount such as a delegation discount or multiple attendee discount.

Your registration fee covers

  • Submission of up to 150 requests per company for one-to-one meetings during the conference
  • Access to all workshops, presentations, panel discussions and the exhibition hall
  • Publication of your company and personal profile on partneringONE®, BIO-Europe Spring’s partnering system
  • Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, complimentary coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages in the conference center
  • Three evening networking receptions

Multiple attendee discount

Companies with three full paying delegates will receive one complimentary ticket for the fourth attendee from that company.

Profile

Your company profile will be published in the password-protected partnering section of the BIO-Europe Spring website.

We will now make all company profiles available as a download. You can access the download tool within the partneringONE® system starting March 9, 2011 and it will remain available for a few months until after the conference. Please note that profiles received after March 4, 2011 will not be included in the download.

Payment/Invoice

Companies selected for a presentation will receive an invoice shortly after they have been notified about their selection for a presentation slot.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent by January 28, 2011, to Tom Voigt at tvoigt@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a EUR 250/ USD300 processing fee) or the full registration and presenting fee will be charged. Refunds will be processed after BIO-Europe Spring 2011.

After January 28, 2011, the full registration fee is applicable. However, a paid up registration is transferable to a replacement from your company.

Please note that no-shows will be billed for the full registration fee and if applicable the full presentation fee.
