Partnering
Why a Partnering Meeting instead of a Trade Show?
EBD Group is specialized in running life science meetings in the format of formal partnering forums. Our philosophy of best practice event management has moved beyond having companies present technologies at an exhibition booth. The booth method is “hit and miss” - you don't know who might drop by or when. Instead, we offer state of the art "partnering software" as an online pre-event facility for delegates to profile their company, to search the profiles of other companies and to request and respond to requests for meetings. Individuals arrive at the meeting knowing who else will be there, and more importantly, exactly who they will be meeting with, including when and where.
Experience shows that this method of presenting a technology is far more effective than exhibiting at a booth, saving you time and money in your search for suitable partners.

Networking opportunities
In addition to formal partnering via the online software, more informal conventional networking is also an important component of our events, and ample opportunity is given for encouraging this, with plenty of seating areas, and non-stop beverages, lunches and evening events provided at no extra cost.

The value of Partnering
Experienced partnering users prepare in advance for each one-on-one meeting by exchanging information with their potential partners and by preparing a short bespoke presentation. In this way, you can maximize the value of the 25 minutes that you spend with each company. Only meetings which have been agreed to by both parties are scheduled, so no time is wasted with no-shows or companies that you don't actually want to meet. The partnering software includes a module for individuals to mark their availability - if you see a company is presenting at a specific time and you wish to see their presentation, you simply mark yourself as unavailable so that no partnering meetings are booked at that time in your personal agenda. Everyone interested in seeing your talk will also be able to ensure they are available at whatever time you are allocated - so you get an audience of individuals with a specific interest in your technology.

Partnering Success Story
Our flagship partnering event BIO-Europe has grown into a pure business forum catering to over 1,850 delegates, and arranging over 7,000 one to one meetings in a 2-day period.
