Midsize Pharma Presentation Application

BIO-Europe 2008 invites midsized pharmaceutical companies to present at the conference. This presentation track reflects the many requests received from the biotechnology industry and from the conference's continuously increasing number of participants from midsized pharmaceutical companies who are involved in the partnering process.

We believe that these presentations will further enhance the opportunity for onsite deal making between midsized pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology companies.

Presentations by companies are 15 minutes long and focus on the following topics:

  • Company overview, including a company's products on the market
  • Existing alliances with biotechnology or other pharmaceutical companies
  • Type of alliances sought

A committee consisting of sponsors, BIO, EBE and EBD Group representatives will choose the presenters. Selection will be based on the interests of pharmaceutical companies, consistency with BIO-Europe 2008’s topics and the "licensability" of products or technologies.

NB: • North American Registrants will be invoiced in USD. All others please remit in Euro.
  • Additional attendees from the same company will be invoiced for the registration fee.
  • Multiple attendee discount:
Companies with 3 full-paying delegates will receive 1 complimentary ticket for the 4th attendee from their company.

Payment/Invoice
Companies selected for a presentation will receive an invoice shortly after they have been notified about their assigned presentation slot.

Deadline for submission of pharma applications to present: July 11
Presenting pharma companies will be notified by: Mid August


Profile/Conference CD
Company profiles received after October 24, 2008, will not be included in the BIO-Europe conference CD. However, your company profile will be published in the password-protected Partnering section of the BIO-Europe website and you will appear on the attendee list of the conference book.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by September 26, 2008, to Tom Voigt at tvoigt@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a processing fee of € 250). Refunds will be processed after BIO-Europe 2008.

After September 26, 2008, the full registration fee is applicable. However, you may send a replacement from your company.
No-shows will still be billed for the full registration fee as we are fulfilling our event obligations.
