How to get to Mannheim
 
  The Congress Center Rosengarten is centrally located in downtown Mannheim. Mannheim main station is within walking distance (approx. 10 minutes).
 
 
Travel by train

The long-distance railway station is at the AIRail Terminal, right next to Terminal 1. Follow the signs „Long distance train station“.
Terminal 2 is linked to the AIRail Terminal via buses and the “Sky Line”. High speed trains to Mannheim leave approx every 30 minutes.

Travel by bus
Lufthansa offers an hourly shuttle service from Frankfurt International Airport to Mannheim Dorint Hotel. This service is operated by ICS-Logistik. The Dorint Hotel is directly connected to the m:con Congress Center where BIO-Europe will take place.
  • Bus Fare:
    approx. 20 Euro (one way) and 36 Euro (return ticket) - The fare needs to be paid to the bus driver in cash
  • Travel time:
    approx. 75 minutes (depending on traffic)
  • Bus stop:
    Terminal 1, Arrival area B, Exit B4-5
  • Tickets:

Please note that reservations need to be made at least 3 days in advance.

How to get to Heidelberg
 
Travel by train
The long-distance railway station is at the AIRail Terminal, right next to Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is linked to the AIRail Terminal via buses and the “Sky Line”.

To reach Heidelberg you need to take the high speed train (ICE) from Frankfurt Airport to Mannheim (leave approx. every 30 minutes) and then connect to the local S-Bahn train service.
There are 4 S-Bahn train lines operating every 20 minutes between Mannheim and Heidelberg (S1, S2, S3, S4). Travel time Mannheim – Heidelberg using the S-Bahn train service is approx. 15 minutes

Taxi
Taxis are located in front of the arrival terminals. A taxi ride from Frankfurt Airport to the Congress Center in Mannheim takes approx. 50 minutes (depending on traffic). One way fares are about 130 euro.
