How do I request a presentation slot?/ Is there a deadline?

What kind of presentation is expected? How long are they?

We are asking all presenters to use Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Each company has 20 minutes allocated for their presentation.

Can I edit my company's profile?

Yes. Please go to the Partnering page of this site. You'll have to enter the username and password you submitted while entering your request for a presentation slot. Please note, that usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

How much is the presentation fee? Does it include registration? Do I have to register separately?

The presentation fee is USD 1,100 for supporting biotechnology association members and USD 1,600 for non-members. Presenters are required to pay presentation fee prior to December 4, 2009.
The fee to present is separate from the registration fee.
With your request to present you are automatically registered for the conference. There is no need to register separately.

How do I submit a copy of my presentation (tech specs)?

To ensure a technically flawless Biotech Showcase 2010 event, we are asking all presenters to submit their Microsoft PowerPoint presentations 48 hours prior to the conference.
Please send a copy of your presentation to biotechshowcase@gmail.com

- Videos should be in a .AVI (MediaPlayer) or .MOV (Quicktime) format.
- If you want to bring a MAC presentation please let us know before the conference and make sure you check your presentation for compatability with the Audio/Video staff on site before your presentation is held.
- The deadline to submit your presentation is 48 hours prior to your presentation slot.

Please submit the online registration form on our website. You will receive a registration confirmation via email.

How do I register as an additional attendee?

Please complete a separate regular registration form for each additional attendee. Each additional attendee will be charged the registration fee.

Can I register on site?

Yes. Note, that the on-site registration fee is USD 650 for members of a supporting biotechnology association and USD 750 for non-members. Payment is required on site, by credit card (VISA, Master) or cash in US Dollars. We do not accept AMEX cards.

Can I share my registration pass with my colleagues?

No sorry. Conference passes are non transferable.

What is included in the presenter fee?

Your registration will include:

  • 20 minute corporate presentation with PowerPoint slides
  • One general attendee registration for the presenter
  • Breaks, luncheon and networking reception
  • Access to the speaker ready room
  • Company profile in handbook and company listing in presentation schedule
  • Link to company website from the event website
  • Access to meeting space for investor or business development meetings

What is included in the general registration fee?

Your registration will include:

  • Access to all areas of the meeting including: breaks, luncheon, corporate presentation rooms, meeting space and networking reception
  • Ability to request meetings and reserve meeting space

Are there any discounts for multiple attendees?

We do not offer any discounts for this conference for multiple attendees.

How do I qualify for the member rate?

In order to qualify for the member rate, you must be a member of a supporting biotechnology association.

Invoicing When will I receive an invoice?

We will send you an invoice with information on methods of payment shortly after your registration.
Presenting companies will receive an invoice shortly after they have been approved to present. Presenters are required to pay presentation fee prior to the event.

What are the methods of payment?

You have the choice to pay by credit card, check or wire transfer. Details can be found on the invoice you will receive shortly after your registration.

What happens if I have not paid my registration fee before the conference?

You will be asked for payment (of the higher on-site registration fee, either USD 650 for members of a supporting biotechnology association or USD 750 for non-members) when arriving at the conference venue.

Can I send a replacement?

Yes. Please register your replacement online and mention in the comment field "replacement for XY".

Cancellation What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be sent by November 30, 2009, to Gail Bendert at gbendert@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a USD 150 processing fee) or the full registration fees will be charged. Refunds will be processed after Biotech Showcase.

After November 30, 2009, the full registration and presentation fees are applicable (except in the case of cancellation following non-selection for presentation). However, a paid up registration is transferable to a replacement delegate from your company. Please note that no-shows will be billed for the full registration fee and if applicable the full presentation

Company profiles What are the profiles used for?

Company profiles will be made available to all other participants on the conference website.
Printed handouts of presenting companies profiles will be distributed on site.
Presenting companies will be selected based on the corporate profiles they submitted.

Can I edit my company profile?

Please visit the partneringONE® section to edit your company profile. You'll have to enter the username and password you submitted while registering. Your confirmation email contains your username and password.

Can I send my company profile as a Word document/PDF/etc.?

No. We accept only those profiles submitted through our website.

Forgot your password?

Please use the password reminder. Your username and password will be sent to your address immediately.

My username/password doesn't work. What now?

Please enter your username and password exactly as entered on the registration/application form.
Your confirmation email contains your username and password.
