Presenter How do I apply? Is there a deadline for applications?

The deadline for applications to present is March 19, 2010. Applicants will be notified about the status of their application by the beginning of April 2010.

What kind of presentation is expected? How long can they be?

Please use Microsoft PowerPoint. Include all fonts and graphics. Videos should be in .AVI (Mediaplayer) or .MOV (Quicktime) format.Each presenter of a regular company presentation will be allocated a total of 14 minutes for the presentation. Each presenter from a 'Next Generation' company will be allocated a total of 7 minutes for the presentation.

Can I edit my company profile?

Yes. Please go to the Edit Profile section of the Partnering Page. You will have to enter the username and password you submitted while entering your registration/application. Please note that usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

How much is the presentation fee? Does it include registration? Do I have to register separately?

The presentation fee is EUR 500/USD 650. This does not include the registration fee. Each company representative will also be charged the prevailing registration fee at the time of registration. The early registration fee applies to applications and additional attendee registrations received before March 19, 2010.
With your Application to Present you are automatically registered for the conference. There is no need to register separately.

How do I submit my presentation (tech specs)?

To ensure a technically flawlesspresentation at EuroMedtech, we are asking all presenters to submit their Microsoft PowerPoint presentations by May 28, 2010 via email to Philipp Mueller, pmueller@ebdgroup.com

  • Videos should be in .AVI (MediaPlayer) or .MOV (Quicktime) format.
  • If your presentation was prepared on a Mac please let us know before the conference and make sure you check your presentation with the AV staff on site before your presentation is held.
  • Deadline is May 28, 2010

How can I exhibit at the conference?

You can exhibit at EuroMedtech 2010 by becoming an official sponsor of the event.
As you will see (click on link above), sponsorships also include a variety of other benefits such as complimentary tickets and exposure in all conference-related marketing materials.
We also have a limited number of exhibition booths available for non-sponsoring companies. The price for a 3 x 2 meter exhibition space is EUR 3,900.

Do I get an ad in the conference guide?

Yes. The official conference guide will include a one-sided full page advertisement for each sponsoring company. Please submit your ad to Claire Macht at cmacht@ebdgroup.com in PDF/JPEG format. The deadline for submitting your file to be included in the printed conference book is TBA.

Registration How do I register as a presenter?

Please submit the Application to Present form through this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the Application to Present. The deadline for applications is March 19, 2010 and companies will be notified by April 5 of the status of their application.

How do I register as a regular attendee?

Please submit the online registration form on this website. Your registration will be confirmed via email to the email address you submitted in the registration form.

How do I register as an additional attendee of a presenting company?

Please complete a separate regular registration form for each additional attendee.

Can I register on site?

Yes. Please note that the on-site registration fee is EUR 1,395/USD 1,595. Payment is required at the time of registration and can be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard). If using euro, company check or cash are also accepted.

Is it possible to obtain a 'one day only' pass?

No. Only full conference passes are available.

Can I share my registration pass with my colleagues?

No. Conference passes are not transferable after the event has started.

What is included in the price?

Your registration includes:

  • Submission of up to 150 requests per company for one-to-one meetings during the conference
  • Access to all workshops, presentations, and panel discussions
  • Access to the exhibit area
  • Publication of your company and personal profile on partneringONE®, EuroMedtech’s partnering system
  • Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks
  • Dinner events during the conference
Are there any discounts for multiple attendees?

Companies with two full paying delegates will receive one complimentary ticket for the third attendee from that company.

Invoicing When will I receive an invoice?

You will receive an invoice with information on methods of payment shortly after your registration. Presenting companies will receive an invoice shortly after they have been selected. To guarantee the early registration discount (deadline April 9, 2010) payments must be received by April 30, 2010.

What are the methods of payment?

Payments may be made by credit card, check or wire transfer. Details can be found on the invoice which will be sent to you a few days after you register online.

What happens if I have not paid my registration fee before the conference?

You will have to register again at the venue and pay the higher on-site registration fee of EUR 1,395/USD 1,595.

Can I send a replacement?

Yes. Please register your replacement via the online registration form and mention in the comment field "replacement for XY".

Cancellation What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be sent by April 30, 2010, to Holly Mersy at hmersy@ebdgroup.com to receive a refund (minus a EUR 250/USD 300 processing fee) or the full registration and presenting fee will be charged. Refunds will be processed after EuroMedtech 2010.
After April 30, 2010, the full registration fee is applicable (except in the case of non-selection for presentation). However, a paid up registration is transferable to a replacement from your company.

NB: No-shows will be billed for the full registration fee.

Company profiles What are the profiles used for?

Company profiles will be made available to all participants on the password protected partnering pages of the conference website when full partnering opens at the end of April.

Presenting companies will be selected based on the corporate profiles they have submitted.

What is the deadline for submitting a profile?

Companies that applied to present must submit a profile by March 19, 2010. There is no deadline for regular attendees to submit their profile.

Can I edit my company profile?

Yes. Please go to our Partnering page. You will have to enter the username and password you submitted when entering your registration/application.

Can I send my company profile as a Word document/PDF/etc.?

No. We accept only those profiles submitted through our website.

What if I forget my password?

Please use the password reminder. Your username and password will be sent to your email address immediately.

My username/password does not work. What now?

Please enter your username and password exactly as entered on the registration/application form.

If you continue to experience difficulties, address your questions to the Partnering Contact.

Shipping Information Where do I send company brochures?

Shipping information for company literature will be available closer to the conference.
All companies are welcome to send up to 50 company kits for distribution at the EuroMedtech 2010 conference. They will be displayed in alphabetical order on the literature table. Materials will not be returned after the conference.
