Fidelity Future Impact Prize to be awarded at Partnering for Global Impact®

CHF 25,000 prize will go to the three most promising social impact ideas

Partnering for Global Impact® is launching the Fidelity Future Impact Prize, an exciting competition for social entrepreneurs seeking seed funding sponsored by Fidelity Worldwide Investment. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for the CHF 25,000 prize by May 31. The prize money will be awarded to the three most promising ideas, helping them turn into solutions of the future.

Partnering for Global Impact is collaborating with the HUB, a global network of incubators, to source and select a group of outstanding social entrepreneurs who will compete for the award. Contestants will benefit through exposure for their ideas and access to advice and investment by participating at the event.

The finalists will pitch their ideas live in Lugano in front of a prestigious jury including: Filipe Santos, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship & Academic Director, INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Initiative; Jack Sim, Founder, World Toilet Organization; and Alfred Strebel, Managing Director, Switzerland, Fidelity.

The first annual Partnering for Global Impact is organized by EBD Group, the leading partnering firm for the life science industry, with successful entrepreneur and investor Gamil G. de Chadarevian, and will be held July 9–10, 2012 at the Lugano Convention Centre in Lugano, Switzerland.
